For
a moment, I had one of those Ben Crenshaw feelings as Stonebridge Ranch
fought our way back in the Tin Cup competition. We were down 10 1/2 to 1
1/2 at the end of the first day at Eldorado CC. But today, Stonebridge
Ranch comes storming back! Eldorado CC retains the Tin Cup winnning
13-11 for the two day event getting only 2 1/2 points today at
Stonebridge Ranch. Thanks to all who gave it their very best for two
days. On the pro side, congratulations goes to Johnny Gray who defeated
Greg Moots both days in their friendly match competition. It was also
good to see both Morris Paulk and Dick Schlough return today following
their medical absence on Tuesday.
I want to thank Larry Elsey for his support as co-captain and please
give him your support as he takes over the Vice President role of
Interclubs and the Tin Cup Competition for 2012. Larry Christensen was
also an advisor as co-captain for this competition and he gets an
insight on his leadership for President of SMGA for 2011-2012. Thanks so
much supporting me this past year in the Interclubs and the Tin Cup.
