6-23-11-IC  Thanks for everyone participating and making the Interclub with Prestonwood CC a great day of fun and enjoyment. We had a great turnout from both sides with 78 players total. We even got a little break in the weather to have a good day for golf. Thanks to Matt and Chris for the golf tourney management and for our great cooks and food service for another very tasty and enjoyable meal.

Stonebridge Ranch had a successful day in the 2 man team matches winning three matches and drawing two matches for a total score of 62.5 to 42.5 on the 21 point system. Here were the winners and those who had a draw on their matches:

Ken Carithers and Larry Robicheaux won 15 to 6.

Don Weiland and Bruce Cox won 14-1/2 to 6-1/2.
John Brockett and Frank Stark won 12 to 9.

Tom George and Mike Maus match was a draw.

Larry Christensen and Don Holec match was a draw.

Winners received $10 each and those that had a draw received $5.

The four man team tournament had 15 teams and it required very low scores. The two best balls including handicap were chosen and the low score of 117(-27) was required to take home the first two prizes. The worst scores by 3 teams was 129(-15). So the scoring was pretty good overall.

Thanks again for the great participation. It made it a great tournament. Our next Interclub is scheduled for Wednesday July 6 and we will host Heritage Ranch. We will travel to Frisco Lakes on Tuesday August 2nd. We will host our last Interclub Tourney on Wednesday August 31. We will then travel to Heritage Ranch on Thursday September 22 and then to Eldorado CC on October 4th to end this year's Interclub schedule. The last interclub at Eldorado will be a good tune up for our Tin Cup match with Eldorado scheduled for October 18-19. Please look for the sign ups for these tourneys on our Interclub schedule. Your interclub points aid in qualifying for the Tin Cup team from Stonebridge Ranch.
