Next week's format on Wednesday, September 8, is the four man team
Lonely Senior Scramble with A, B, C, and D pairings. There is no handicap used
for this format. All players scramble the #1 and #2 Handicap holes. For the
handicap holes 3-6, the A player is the lonely senior recording his gross score
and the other three players play a scramble on those holes recording their
score. For the handicap holes 7-10, the B player is the lonely senior recording
his gross score and the other three players play a scramble on those holes
recording their score. Similarly, handicap holes 11-14 the C player is the
lonely senior and handicap holes 15-18 the D player is the lonely senior.
The greens are scheduled to be aerified with the big tines on September 7.
Ken Carithers will be the Tournament Director next week as I am out of town
for Labor Day week. He will make the decision on automatic two putts if you are
on the green. You can still sign up for the Interclub at El Dorado for September
7. Sign up for these tournaments as well as the Hurricane Creek Interclub for
September 15, the September 22 SMGA tourney, the SMGA Championship on September
29-30, and the SMGA Banquet for September 30 in the Green SMGA Notebook binder
in the Golf Shop.
Have a safe
and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend,
Denny
