6-23-10  While Denny Wiseman was enjoying cool weather and a round of golf at Spy Glass (near Pebble Beach), 45 SMGA players endured the heat today to play a four man team 1,2,3 Modified Stableford counting best score for par 3's, best two scores for par 4's, and best three scores for par 5's. Points awarded as follows: 1 for net bogey or higher, 0 for net par, 2 for net birdie, 4 for net eagle, and 8 for net double eagle. While some were challenged by the math, Chris McCord put his computer to work to do the official calculations! Thanks Chris.

Leroy Whitaker Update: Leroy was released from the hospital today after having triple by-pass surgery last Friday. He will be recuperating at home for about two months before we see him back on the course. He is doing very well, but knows his recovery will take time.
