9/9/09 Gentlemen,

It was another great day in Texas – beautiful blue skies and great company on the course. We did real well today with our pace of play being right around the 4 hour mark. Thanks to everyone for playing ready golf and keeping up with the foursome in front of you.

Next Week’s Tournaments:

Tuesday, Sep 15, is the Interclub vs. Eldorado CC at Eldorado. This is a mixed tournament format with both match play and team play. Sign up deadline is Sunday at noon. Don Holec will send a notice this week with the sign up deadline and more information regarding the tournament. Remember that many of you will be playing in the Tin Cup against Eldorado in October. This tournament will be good preparation for the Tin Cup. So sign up early. Currently, we have only 18 players signed up.

Wednesday, Sep 16, will be our regular SMGA tournament. The tournament format is a 4-man team SHAMBLE, ABCD pairings, 80% handicap, Best 3 low net scores on each hole, and minimum of 2 drives per player. Sign up for this tournament by Monday, 5:00 PM in the SMGA Green Binder in the Pro Shop.
