6-3-09 Thank you to the 39 SMGA players who participated in today’s interclub with Hurricane Creek. With Hurricane Creek’s 32 players, we had 71 total players. Great turnout! Sure glad the weather held off so we could get our interclub in. Hope you had a good time. Lunch was great (thank you Alan Miller and restaurant staff). Thank you Chris McCord and Johnny Gray for a great job managing the tournament. Note #1: Be sure to sign up in the Pro Shop for next Wednesday’s tournament. The format is Chicago - Individual game. ABCD pairings. 100% Hdcp. Each player has a Quota (39 minus handicap). Highest score above quota wins or if quota is not reached lowest negative score. Scoring is Dbl Bogey = 0, Bogey = 1, Par = 2, Birdie = 3, Eagle = 4, Dbl Eagle = 5. Larry will get more info out later.
