A beautiful day and a game of golf were enjoyed by everyone.

Pace of Play

It was another outstanding pace of play for our round. Everyone completed their round in just under 4-1/2 hrs. Everyone except for one foursome which completed their round in 3hrs-40mins. Kudos to everyone!

Match Play Competition

The sign up sheet for the Match Play is in the SMGA Green Binder in the Pro Shop. So far we have 48 players signed up. We would like to get a full field of 64 players. If you haven’t done so as yet, you have until April10 to sign up. Matches can be played beginning on April 13.

Miscellaneous comments

I had a couple questions today about Winter Rules / Preferred Lies and tournament start times. The Winter Rules / Preferred Lies are in effect until April 30 – enjoy it while you can. Our Tournament start times will remain at 9:00am until you are notified otherwise. In the past, the start time was changed to 8:00am on May 1.

Next week’s Tournament

Next week’s tournament format is 2-man team Scramble, AB / CD flights, 20% team Hdcp, 6 drives each player. Sign up in the SMGA binder no later than 5:00pm on Monday. We are playing a scramble because Robey will be aerifying the greens on Monday and Tuesday. So the greens will not be in the best of conditions.
