9-3-08 A big THANK YOU to the 30 SMGA players who participated in todays interclub with Eldorado. Eldorado had 25 players for a total of 55. What a great turnout with cool temps and Gustav winds. All enjoyed windy golf, great camaraderie and a delicious lunch..
For bragging rights, the lowest 10 net scores of each club were used. Stonebridge beat Eldorado by a score of 721 vs 726. Congratulations Stonebridge players!!!
Here are our winners from today (three best net balls): 1st place: Stan Chavez and Leroy Whitaker and two Eldorado players (Larry Schoenrock and Buck Clements) with a score of 200. $25 each in Pro Shop credits. 2nd place: Dennis Croysdale and John Braun and two Eldorado players (John Sowerby and Val Scott (blind draw) with a score of 201. $20 each in Pro Shop credits. 3rd place: Bruce Cox and Joseph Weber with two Eldorado players (Ted Ping and Donald Christensen) with a score of 203. $15 each in Pro Shop credits. 4th place: Chip Marz and Richard Schlough with two Eldorado players (James Carney and James Ducatelli) with a score of 209. $8.75 each in Pro Shop credits.

Note: Because of the Senior Member-Guest tournament, there will not be a SMGA tournament next Wednesday. Our next interclub tournament will be at The Golf Club at Frisco Lakes on Tuesday, September 16th. More details about this outing will be emailed later this week after I hear back from my counterpart at Frisco Lakes.
