8-6-08 Gentlemen,
We had a nice day for golf
today. The last group finished in less than 41/2 hours,
we had numerous great scores and it appears
that most everyone had a great
time. Charles Williams shot a sizzling 72 and Larry
Robicheaux shot an all time low of 76. Robert
Wantland also shot a 76. Our
"Shot of the Day" was 6' 1/2" by Tony Yunt at #
15. Gentlemen, don't forget that we give putts if they
are 18" or less NOT 19, 20 or
24 inches. Please mark your putters so we all play by the
same rules. If you are going to use the drop
area at #24 please make sure
you use the correct drop area NOT the Ladies tee box. Our
Club Championships are September 26th
and 27th. If you haven't
played in 5 tournaments or Interclubs by then you will be
ineligible to participate in the Championships. ALL
SMGA members are eligible to
attend the year end banquet scheduled for September 27th
whether you play in 5 tourneys or not.
