We had 54 members signed up
Tuesday evening, 5 members cancelled prior to Tuesday, 3
members cancelled Tuesday evening,
2 members signed up twice, We
had 46 members on the list to play Wednesday morning, 4
members showed up Wednesday morning
thinking they were on the list
but weren't signed up. Bottom line we had 50 players
compete for Shop Credit and CTP prizes. 18
members shared in the prizes,
better than a 3rd of the field were winners!!! After a
FINAL audit last weeks 4th Flight winners were:
1. Bob Donley 2. Jim Wilson 3.
Bill Uhlemann. We again had an act of honesty & ethics
performed in today's tournament. Jerry Obenour
assessed himself and his
partner a penalty for too many clubs in the bag (15) which
caused his team to go
from 2nd to 5th in his flight
causing his team to be out of
the money. Thank's for your honesty Jerry, I'm sure that
the rest of the membership would have done the
same thing if it had happened
to us. My apologies to George Belcher for causing a
disruption in the CTP at hole #21. I take full
responsibility
for not leaving the marker at
the hole. "Shot of the day" was George Belchers 10"
at #21. Today's pace of play was an improvement, most
groups finished in less than 4
1/2 hours. Now for the winners:
