7-16-08 Gentlemen,
We had 47 members sign up for
todays playday, 5 cancelled prior to Wednesday and 2
members signed up too late to be involved
in the game but played and
competed for CTP honors. We had (3) new CTP winners
today. We have 53 members who have joined
the "Hole-In-One Club". Our
pot is $265.00 which will be awarded the 1st member to get
a hole in one during our Wednesday playdays
or HOME Interclub dates. All
members are welcome to join the "Club" Feel free to give
me your $5.00 and I will put you on the list. It is
cheap insurance for achieving
a nice goal, ask Jim Deen (the last winner of $250.00).
Todays "Shot of the Day" was Don Holec's
146 yard 3 Metal on #8 to 4'
4". Nice shot Don!!! Thanks to almost all of you for
attempting to finish in less than 4 hours. The 1st
group finished in 3 hours and
10 minutes, the last came in at 4 1/2 hours. In defense
of the last group they were the "B" group on the tee.
Don't forget to fill in your
divots in the fairway with sand and fix your ball marks on
the green plus 2 more!!!! Also, if you happen to hit
a shot out of the sand bunkers
that have sand, please rake when you get done. If there
is little sand then please scrape it smooth.
Please keep our Sick, Ill and
Injured members in your thoughts and prayers. If you are
vacationing drive safely and get home safe.
Don't forget to sign up for
our next Tourney on the 23rd which will be our "Dinosaurs"
Tourney. We will be playing within our own
Age Groups. Please remember
to place your current age as of the 23rd of July next to
your name on the sign up sheet. Don't forget
that you need to play in FIVE
(5) Wednesday playdays or Interclubs to be eligible to
qualify to play in the Club Championships on
September 26th & 27th of
2008. If you don't know where you stand go to
