A "Thank you" to all of you for finishing in less than 4 hours!!! It was suggested in a prior e-mail from the Membership that the "A" players should take charge and speed up play within the 4-Some. It appears that all the Members are taking charge and speeding up play. In our 4-some yesterday Bill Cross & Ray Matthews were constantly on my case about keeping up with the group ahead of us, believe me I was not offended and I made a special effort to keep up. Congrats to Gene Whalen for his Gross Eagle 3 on #13. Don't forget to sign up for next weeks tourney with the Ladies from the RLGA. If you haven't signed up please do so, if you won't be able to visit the Pro-Shop to sign up call me or the pro-shop or e-mail me and I will make sure your name gets on the list. As of yesterday we only had 28 players signed up. The game will be a 4-person Scramble. I heard more excuses from the members: "It's just too cold, I can't play if it's not at least 50 degrees" "I had too big a breakfast, I can't get the club around my gut" "My dog pissed on my golf shoes so I had to wear my sneakers" Oh well to each his own.
