We had a great day today, a little cool,wet and windy but it was better than not playing at all !!! Congrats to all of you who finished in less than 4 hours. We only had 2 groups who didn't finish in less than 3 hours and 45 minutes. Gil Lavey's group finished in 4:15 minutes and Dave Mehall's group in 4:30 minutes. Gil blamed me because he finished at hole 13 and had to come in from the farthest hole on the course (last I knew Gil owns a cart and doesn't walk!!!). Dave complained because he had to wait at every hole because the group in front of him were playing slow and stopped at all the water holes and "fished" for balls (guess who was in front of Dave's group?) I will give you 3 guesses the 1st 2 guesses don't count ( I wll give you a hint, initials are GL). Ken Carithers is getting cocky again repeating a statement he made 2 weeks ago "I told you it was like taking candy from babies" !!! We didn't have any mistakes in the scoring today. Bobby blamed the computer for last weeks errors stating " I don't make mistakes, sometimes the computer goes "wacky" and doesn't compute correctly" I guess because Matt and I were standing there didn't have anything to do with no mistakes today. Tony Yunt has had some success since he joined our group with several wins and some CTP wins. He was overheard mumbling to himself as he left "I told Stan not to put me with BJ, we could have won 1st place if it wasn't for him" Sorry Tony it's Bobby who wants to punish you. Some excuses heard from the Members, "It's impossible to get a true roll on these greens with all this sand" "I hit it off the toe of my club" " I must be allergic to the pesticide spray, my eyes keep watering and I can't see the ball" Now for today's winners:
